I decided to try the quail from this company and I'm very impressed. They are all very large with a lot of meat on them and they are very, very clean. I would definately recommend them and will use them a lot in the future! Shipping went through UPS Ground and they were here in 3 days and still frozen with no dry ice or cold packs.....very impressed with them!

I've heard some good things about them. I use Boyds quail. It is also based out of Washington. His prices are better and the breast meat is so rich it is almost dark purple. I was turned on to them by Danny Ertsgaard, I'm sure some of you have heard of him, pretty well known falcon breeder. He lives a few hours from me and will be mentoring me through my first long wing next year, hopefully eyass female priarie. He purchased $45,000.00 worth of quail through Boyd's last year and won't use anybody else unless in a major bind. Boyd is kind of our little secret in the northwest.

That's good to know. I'll have to try Boyds quail too and see how they are. I just got 40 pheasants last Tuesday and I have 100 quail eggs in the incubator and next month I'll be getting 40 chukar. The bad thing is the shipping.....that's what really kills us when we order food for out birds. LOL I couldn't believe how the prices have gone up either. I haven't had to buy quail for about 4 years. Back then I was paying .90 for them and with this order I believe they were $1.70. I'm glad I raise a lot of my own! LOL
