This is a good read, though there isn't much too it as far as volume, the content however is worth it for anyone who flies eagles. The full title is 'The Last Wold Hawker: The Eagle Falconry of Friedrich Remmler' by Martin Hollinshead.

Yeah it is a good book if you just want to read something. Really very little about falconry itself or the training of the eagles. Most just stories of the eagle hunts on wolves and some problems and small hunting parties. Martin sent me a signed copy for my input on a review. If memory serves me correctly there wasn't anything on the training except for a short discussion on "waking" them during training.

I still like the story of the female golden hitting Remmler in the neck. He was sitting on a horse and she did this!
