As of today by unanimous decision by the committee, Oregon has approved take of 7 eyass peregrines by drawing for falconry use. ;D

Someday probably, I work the department of transportation and I built two peregrine nest boxes to be put under bridges. They are trying to get them to take residence to help with the pigeon problem. If we can get a passage take established I will go there to trap. The eyass take is limited to master falconers and only 7 per year by drawing at this point, so I'd have to wait 6 years for that but maybe the passage take will be for general and then I'll trap one.

Dang, that's awefully strict. When our eyas were made available a few years ago it was for general and master class. They are now working on a passage peregrine take for the 2009 trapping season and will also be for general and master.
